This is for all the beautiful women who just want to live well, age well, and feel great about themselves and their body.

The Science of Energy Balance and Protein Leverage and How You Can Reach Your Ideal body Weight and Avoid Weight Regain Without Restrictive Eating.

Hi, and welcome to this webinar

Today we're going to go over how you can reach your ideal body weight, feel great about yourself and avoid weight regain without being on a restrictive diet.

So first, I'm going to start with a few easy questions to get us all on the same page.

Have you ever tried to lose weight but found it difficult?

I think we can all probably put our hand up for that one.

Have you been able to lose weight? But then put it all back on again?

That's what we call weight regain and I'm going to explain exactly why that happens in today's presentation.

And lastly, are you confused about how to maintain your weight, feel great and age well without restrictive diets?

Now if you've answered yes to any, or all of these questions, then I think I can help.

I'm looking for 10 to 15 women to join me and my clients ... women who want to lose body fat and keep it off in the long term and feel amazing, all without restrictive diets.

I'm hoping my next client is you?

I'm looking for women that are health conscious, they want to age well feel strong, feel sexy, and have fun. And I'm looking for women who want to feel amazing and fuel their bodies with the right nutrition.

So, my name is Rhoda Lucas, and I'm a dietitian and fitness model, and I've had 20 years experience educating thousands of health professionals and also my clients, on healthy eating.

In my practice these days, I focus on fat loss and lean muscle gain for the long term all without restrictive diets.

I'm also a pro age model, and I recently signed with Silverfox management which is an international modelling agency that specialises in mature age models. It's so positive to see brands embracing older women who are more age-appropriate for their campaigns ... and the reason I bring this up is so you can get a feel for what I stand for and how I lead my life.

I never dreamed I'd be a model at 50 ... and yet here we are ... where women are celebrating their age rather than trying to hide it.

As part of this, I was asked to be the face of the ageless project, which is a fashion, beauty and wellbeing movement celebrating mature age models and the Australian fashion industry ... and this is an expression of how I feel about ageing.

But how did I really end up here?

Well, let's start with my moment of truth. In my 40s I experienced quite severe health issues. I had anxiety and then I ended up with a Thyroid Tumour and needing surgery ... and here's a snap of me just before heading into theatre.

Now when I was in that hospital bed, I realised something true about myself, and that was that I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was over the stress and over the worry that used to fill my life, and I just wanted to be the strong, capable woman I knew that I could be.

So one of the first things I did when I recovered, was I hired a personal trainer. And then I did something completely out of character and entered a fitness model competition.

And I was able to walk out on that stage, confident to be judged in a bikini, which is the opposite to what I'd ever done before in my life.

I mean, I was the woman at the beach who always wanted to cover up, to hide my cellulite and to hide my stretch marks. This was something I did for myself ... not because I had anything to prove to anyone, but because I wanted to show myself that I loved myself.

The whole thing ended up being really fun. And it was during this time that I found an eating plan that changed my figure, and it changed my life ... and that's what's led me to sharing this with you.

Now, in order to get in the best shape of my life in my mid 40's, after two kids and thyroid surgery, I reached out to an old college professor of mine who had just retired after heading up a team of 220 scientists in Switzerland, trying to find the cure for obesity and diabetes.
